March Madness

March has been a very busy month for the Flemings! Joey is now 4 months old and growing like a weed! We started the month off with mommy's birthday. I woke up to flowers, coffee, a sports watch for the gym, and a sleeping baby! Since my birthday was on a Tuesday, we didn't do much celebrating, which was perfect.

The weekend of the 10th we went to a friend's house for a St. Patty's Day party. Joey did really well. We got there before too many people showed up, then Joey napped for 2 hours, which allowed mommy and daddy time to socialize. The next day was a big day for us, Joey started to roll over! He still wasn't a fan of being on his tummy, so he would spit up and cry until mommy or daddy rolled him back over. We can't put him on the ground without him rolling. He rolls all over the place, even tries to follow mommy into the kitchen. This weekend was so nice and the first weekend daddy wasn't working on the basement we decided to take Joey to the local zoo. He was amazed at all the new sights. Its a small zoo with not too many animals but he did enjoy himself.

St. Patty's Day we went to Ed's Aunt Kathleen's (Lala to Joey and Rosie) to meet her new grand baby Rosemary. She is 2 months younger than Joey and just the sweetest little thing! Saturday night we came home and Joey really started to show signs he wasn't feeling well. He started on Friday eating half of what he normally takes. We took his temp and he was fine, but by Saturday night, we had our first experience with baby throw up. He was sick the whole weekend, so we took him to the doctor on Monday and we were told he had a G.I. Virus, which he gave to mommy, then daddy, then grandmom. .

Joey takes being sick much better than mommy and daddy!

This month Joey has really discover his lungs and feet. He loves to test out his vocal chords, his whining has now turned into screaming. It was cute at first and I love his happy little squeals, but the screaming when he is upset isn't so much fun. When he discovered his feet earlier this month, he has been obsessed ever since, and loves his new chew toy.....his left foot.

This month daddy went to the Netherlands for a week, and mommy's friend Jen came out for the weekend.  Jen and I took Joey to the Delaware Children's Museum.  Not much he could do there but he did like to look around at everything.
