I feel like so much has been happening the last few weeks, thought I should update the ol' blog.
We started potty training Joey at the end of March, and he has blown me away with how fast he picked it up. We started the first week of sitting on the potty every 15 minutes.....it sucked for all of us. So at the start of week 2 we moved him to every 30 mins on the potty. We got 2 days into the second week when Joey went 2 whole days without an accident. He had an accident on the 3rd day, and then accident free for 3 days. He's only had one night with a wet diaper too. This kid amazes me every day!!!
We've been having nicer weather lately (FINALLY!!) too so I've been able to spend some quality time with Katelyn at the park while Joey was at therapy. I found a toddler park that is perfect for her. She loves playing and checking out all the other kids we see there. It's a very small park and there is typically at most 3 other kids there with us. She loves going!
This past week the kids got their belated birthday present, a jungle gym. They absolutely love it!! We can't get them off it and they can't wait to go outside to play on it. Katelyn loves to grab her shoes and coat out of their drawer, bring them to me, and then she will point to the door, "uhh".
On Saturday we went down to the neighbors to color Easter eggs with Harrison and Copeland. The kids had a great time and when they were finished all their hands were dyed various shades.
Today, we had my in laws over for brunch and the kids had a little egg hunt in the back yard.
