February

February has been a month of progress.  We started out the month with me quitting my job....finally!!  I turned in my notice back in December but my boss wasn't ready to accept my resignation, and I wasn't really ready to quit.  Earlier this month we came to the agreement that it as time, and I was ready!!  It has only been a few weeks and I'm loving it.  Joey and I go to the gym most days where he can go into the nursery for an hour while I get some exercise.  On Tuesdays we have been going to story/sing a long time at the library.  Joey loves it and just smiles, laughs, and talks the whole time.

Joey loves to talk and tell stories.  He thinks he is quite funny and loves it when mommy and daddy make silly noises with him.  Joey has also graduated from his little baby bath tub to the big bath tub, and he thinks its the greatest thing!  He has so much more room to splash around in.  He is trying to roll over, but hasn't fully mastered it yet.  He has a hard time getting over his arm.  His other new trick is sitting up.  He likes to sit up and see what's going on around him.  He needs a little help from mommy but he he is able to lay down and pull himself up into a sitting position.  I've been trying to teach him some sign language, and today he said daddy!!!  I was SO excited!!!  And so was daddy!

Here are some pictures from this month.

  1. He is so adorable Maria! Thank you for sharing with me. I was asking the girls at Whited if you came back yet and they said you were done. Good for you!!!! Enjoy Joey while he's young because he doesn't stay that way long. Again, thanks for sharing. It means a lot to me. Peggy
